2 The Net Sports Management

Who are We and What do We Do?

2 The Net Sports Management was created in the summer of 2020 amidst the COVID19 pandemic to help high school student-athletes obtain a stronger social media presence that will assist them in college recruitment.  Our staff has been in the gyms watching, coaching, and recruiting volleyball and basketball for over a combined 40 years, and see a growing need for most high school athletes to increase their web footprint.

We all know that the top tier athletes really don't need much help.  They are always being written about, have their videos on Twitter, Instagram, etc, and yet there is a ton of college level players who could use some help getting their name out there.  That is what we want to do - help players market their skill set so they can play at the next level.

Please see our Services listing below for more details.

Our primary services are listed below, however each student-athlete has their own needs, so we will gladly help prepare a package for you that best fits your situation.  One question that we know will be asked is the rates for our services.  Please understand that we posted our default rates below with each service, but will work with players and their families to create a pricing structure that best fits each situation.  We know that sports - especially travel sports - is extremely expensive and we want to keep that in mind.

Lastly, and this is very important, we will not work with any athlete prior to seeing them play in person or on film.  Our relationships with college coaches are built on trust, and before we work with an athlete, we want to ensure they have college potential.

Social Media Marketing

Now more than ever, it is important for student-athletes to have a positive presence on social media.  We will help by routinely creating new content to go out to our followers, push your content with 'likes' and 're-Tweets' and will help drive your profile each time you have a good game, tournament, etc.  Essentially, we will help you widen your appeal to more people, with a focus on college coaches, schools, etc.

Our rate per player, and per season for our Social Media Marketing Exposure is $125.

Highlight Tapes and Media

One of the things we see the most is that players just don't have content.  They go to an event, play well, but don't have any photos or film other than what a parent may have taken.  We can use those things of course, especially full games, but will also schedule to attend events with you.  We will get photos, film, etc and then create highlights for you to add to your website (see below), to recruiting platforms you may be using, and of course post on social media.

For this service, each rate must be discussed individually due to location, amount of games, fees to get in to an event, etc.  However, our normal fee to take game film and create highlight media is $100.

Personal Website Creation

One thing that we highly recommend is having a personalized web-page.  You can put all of your contact information, academic details, athletic success, and post photos and sometimes even video.

As we work with more students, we are going to build this site to have detailed, personalized web-pages.  All of the services listed above will then run in to the personal page to have a one-stop location for college coaches to get a better understanding of who you are as an athlete, a student and as a person.

We will incur the hosting fees for these pages and handle the building and updating of content (of course each player can tell us what they want on the site).  Like all of our services, rates are negotiable based on the situation and can be packaged together.  Our default rate for a personalized page that will go on our site is $200.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you a Recruiting Service?

No, we are not a recruiting service per se.  As we build relationships and get to know our clients, we will of course recommend them to college coaches we know that are a good fit.  While we are helping our athletes build their own recruiting profile and get their message out, we do not provide the services of a normal recruiting site.  If you need those services, we could recommend some, or even better, help you recruit yourself to the schools you are interested in.

Why do you need to see a player before you work with them?

Simply put, we just have limited time at our disposal.  If we were to work with everyone that needed our help, we wouldn't be able to provide the quality of service that we want to give.  Also, as we stated above, we cherish the relationships we have with college coaches and only want to help support and publicize student-athletes that have the ability to play at the next level.

Do you think I can play D1?

Let's go ahead and get this out of the way because we get asked this question more than anything else.  Our focus is not strictly on player evaluation, but helping you get more recognition as a player.  As we get to know players and their families, we may put you in contact with specific coaches, and this answer will eventually get answered.  But, just off of film or watching you play a couple of time, we will not pigeon-hole a player to a certain division or level of play.  On that note, D1 is not the best for every athlete, and other divisions play high quality volleyball and basketball.

You mentioned that rates are negotiable and you can create a package to fit our needs.  What does that really mean?

For the vast majority of people we work with, the rates will be $125 for Social Media Marketing, $100 for game recording and creating a highlight film, and $200 for a personal website.  However, each situation is different and we will work with you where we can.  To put it simply, let's talk about your situation and see what we can do to help.  Everyone is different, and we realize that.

How do I contact you?

You can e-mail us at 'exposure@2thenet.com', can respond below, or can direct message us on Twitter or Instagram.  We do know that phone calls are often a good tool, and we will do that as well, but like to start out via one of these other methods.

How Can We Help?

We want to hear from you.  What are your questions?  We look forward to working with you and helping you on your path to playing college athletics.
